FIREFLY™ ATHENA 60:60 is designed to be installed as a two-layer fire barrier system, certified for use on timber to provide compartmentation of larger spaces. Exceeds the Fire Barrier requirements of Building Regulations: Approved Document B (Fire Safety) with 60 minutes Integrity and 60 minutes Insulation.

Public Address and Voice Alarm systems allow safe and controlled building evacuation to be managed in the case of an emergency. Clear voice messages can be initiated from the system to aid building evacuation. The systems can also be used to provide background music and paging system solutions.

VIDs are generally used as a supplementary indication to raise situational awareness. But, when an event occurs, they cannot be used as the only means to alert people to a potential hazard.

VADs are used to supplement sounders, providing an effective means of alerting and evacuating occupants of the building, as part of its fire safety strategy. Regulations and codes of practices recommend that they should be installed in places where audible devices alone would be ineffective, or, where they are simply undesirable. Installation of VADs has been mandatory since January 2014 and, with the introduction of the EN54-23 the use of VADs has grown considerably.

The FireClass range of fire alarm control panels provide a great deal of flexibility in terms of hardware configuration, scalability and feature set. 

Both the FC702 and FC708 are highly featured digital addressable fire alarm system with 8.4" TFT Colour touch screen multilingual user interface. The FC702 is a 2-loop system that can handle up to 250 devices per panel while the FC708 is an 8-loop system that can handle up to 1,000 devices per panel.
