Understanding the LFX range

Choosing the right size unit for your device
The Watt-hour (Wh) rating of a battery is a critical factor in determining the appropriate LFX fire extinguisher. As the Wh rating increases, so do the potential fire risks, as well as the size of the fire extinguisher required:

Up to 300Wh: 3ltr
Devices up to 300Wh ratings require an LFX fire extinguisher of at least three litres , in order to tackle potential fires confidently. This compact yet high-performing unit is ideal for workshops using cordless drills, mobile phone and laptop repair stores, and homes where items such as laptops are in use.

Up to 600Wh: 6ltr
When the Watt-hours reach up to 600, a 6ltr LFX fire extinguisher is required to mitigate the risks of any potential fires. These units are also well-suited to environments such as supermarkets, which house large amounts of lithium-ion-
powered scanners, as well as homes with devices such as hoverboards.

LFX is endothermic.
