Exclusive Launch of 'Fire Door Inspections in Residential Buildings' Document at The Fire Safety Event

The launch of BIM4 Fire Door Reference Document will be held at Safelincs’ stand at The Fire Safety Event. The launch will take place on 30th April at 11am and Alan Oliver from Golden Thread Fire Delay will be presenting the document and answering questions. Visit the Safelincs stand from 11am to find out how to obtain a free copy.

The purpose of the document is to continue to support landlords to comply with current regulations and assist in keeping residents safe from harm.

The document offers practical insights, expert recommendations, and best practices for conducting thorough fire door inspections in residential buildings. It covers essential topics such as regulatory compliance, common fire door issues, maintenance guidelines, and corrective actions.

Alan Oliver from the Golden Thread Fire Delay, has been in the passive fire protection industry for more than 40 years, having joined the fire protection division of Pilkington Glass in 1981. He was a founding director and MD of Checkmate Fire Solutions and a consultant at BRE Academy before joining GTFD in 2019. He is a proud and active member of NAHFO (the National Association of Healthcare Fire Officers).

 

Document Talks and Q&A Sessions

In addition to the launch on the 30th April, Alan Oliver will be at the Safelincs stand on both the 2nd and 3rd day of the show for a Q&A session between 12:30pm-2:00pm. Alan and the Safelincs team will also be available to discuss general fire door queries and provide expert advice.
