Elevation Fire Training Launches Industry-Approved Courses to Tackle Compliance Challenges in Fire Safety
As fire safety regulations tighten in 2025, Elevation Fire Training (EFT) is stepping up to support fire system professionals with industry-approved courses designed to improve compliance, competency and safety. When only 50% of properties pass fire safety audits, the need for highly skills fire system engineers has never been greater.
EFT offers training in BS 5839-Part 1:2017 and BS 5839-Part 6:2019 and has recently introduced Practical Fire Systems Installation and Maintenance courses at its Leeds and Peterborough academies. To further enhance fire safety standards, the company plans to launch fire extinguisher training courses in May.
With over 35 years of industry experience, EFT’s hands-on trainers provide real-world skills to reduce fire risks, exceed compliance standards and, most importantly, save lives. These courses guarantee that you team can confidently handle fire system installation, maintenance, and emergency response.
“’Training Beyond Compliance’-that’s my motto!” said EFT’s fire and security tutor, Steve Pilford. “We are passionate about the fire protection industry and believe training should be more than passing an exam. Our aim is to help learners understand and absorb information in a fun and engaging way. We assess your progress throughout your time with us to ensure you have understood what we are teaching.”
Upon completion, professionals earn an EAL Level 3 or ECS-recognised qualification, providing proof of their expertise, compliance and commitment to fire safety. In a time of increasing regulatory changes, investing in quality training isn’t an option-it’s a necessity.
