Allegion returns to the Fire Safety Event in support of accurate door hardware installation
BIRMINGHAM (March 2024) – Allegion UK, a pioneer in fire safety hardware and manufacturer of ‘Briton’ door controls, will be exhibiting at this year’s Fire Safety Event, taking place between 30th April - 2nd May at the NEC, Birmingham, as part of its campaign to promote accurate fire door closer installation.
Located on stand 5/EI03, Allegion’s door control experts will be showcasing a range of Briton door closers and exit hardware devices and sharing information on fire door hardware specification to emphasise the critical importance of accurate fire door hardware installation and ongoing maintenance.
For 25 years, the Briton Accufit template has reduced fitting time and improved the accuracy of door closer installation, and with a working Briton door closer model on stand, Allegion will be presenting fire safety professionals, installers and responsible persons with a preview of its newly enhanced self-adhesive Accufit installation, ahead of its official launch later this year.
Allegion is also set to introduce its new Briton Exit Hardware Catalogue at this year’s event, offering copies of its comprehensive product brochure to visitors upon request.
Speaking on their plans for the event, Pete Hancox, country manager at Allegion UK, commented:
“With the latest fire safety legislations placing a renewed focus on competency, this year’s Fire Safety Event presents us with a perfect opportunity to connect with industry professionals and responsible persons, as we aim to raise awareness on key themes and offer valuable expertise and support, regarding the critical importance of accurate door closer installation.
“Allegion is committed to pioneering safety, and we’re delighted to return to this year’s event with a preview of our unique and newly enhanced Accufit system, designed to facilitate easy and accurate installation of Briton’s trusted door closers. We welcome visitors to stand 5/EI03, where our team will be on hand to share trusted knowledge, provide on-site demos and supply copies of our latest exit hardware catalogue.”
