Production & Testing

• Every Halspan door blank and core is manufactured to the highest standards, using consistent production techniques and to exact specifications
• Components are tested together for fire resistance, acoustic performance, durability and environmental performance, ensuring the whole door system is compliant
• Over 850 tests completed to date, providing the basis for the widest scope of compliant door configurations available

Specification

• Specifier either selects from a range of Halspan® Verified door systems according to sector or door system spec or uses the Product Selector tool on our website to customise their own compliant Halspan® Verified door system
• Uses the online management platform on our website to manage their doors and projects via a secure online account 
• Downloads customised, compliant drawings, specifications, door schedules and supporting test evidence

Fabrication

• Halspan® Verified fabrication partner signs in to Halspan® Tracker and uploads door production schedule
• Estimates project and, once approved, orders supplies direct from Halspan® Store, our one stop online shop
• After uploading associated fabrication drawings and supporting Halspan® Verified documentation (PDF files), door production begins • Optional – Halspan® Smart Tag identification tag fitted to door and scanned on smart device, creating a record on Halspan® Tracker system
• Production quality assurance data uploaded to Halspan® Tracker system

Installation

• Halspan® Verified installation partner signs in to Halspan® Tracker app on their smart device
• Scans Halspan® Smart Tag on door (if fitted), identifying the asset and opening up its quality assurance record
• After confirming the door’s location, accesses relevant door installation guide
• Completes step-by-step Halspan® Verified checklist
• Carries out quality assurance checks and signs off compliant installation 

Inspection & Maintenance

• Halspan® Verified inspection partner signs in to Halspan® Tracker app on their smart device
• Scans Halspan Smart Tag (if fitted), identifying the asset and opening up its quality assurance record
• Finds, accesses and views door records using a digital floor plan or views individual door information
• Views inspection/maintenance summary
• Completes step-by-step Halspan® Verified inspection/ maintenance checklist
• Signs off inspection/maintenance and chooses required reporting format for records
• Inspections can be carried out by an accredited member of our Halspan® Inspection Services division or other competent inspector
