Protecta FR Putty Cord is an easy to apply fire and sound rated sealant, supplied as a non-setting putty cord. The putty cord is hand workable, re-usable and re-serviceable due to its non-setting properties. FR Putty Cord is supplied in circular strips and is easy to fit with your thumbs, with no tools required.

FR Putty Cord is designed to be easily fitted around service penetrations where the gap around the services is very small or there is no gap at all, so a conventional fire rated sealant is difficult to fit due to the required depth and backing of the material. The putty cords are fitted to cover the gap around the services and do not need to fill the gap to the required depth.
