Highly elastic fire-rated sealant with resistance to moisture and radon
Protecta FR IPT is a high-performance, fire-rated sealant developed for sealing joints, cables, conduits and pipe penetrations in fire-rated walls and floors. Designed for narrow openings between 10–30 mm, it combines excellent fire performance with outstanding elasticity, making it suitable for environments where movement, vibration, moisture or radon protection is a concern.

Formulated using Inert Polymer Technology, FR IPT offers strong adhesion to most common construction materials, often without the need for a primer. Once cured, it remains highly elastic, accommodating structural movement while maintaining long-term fire, smoke and gas sealing performance.
The sealant cures with minimal shrinkage, remains colour-stable over time, and can be painted once dry. Its low-VOC, solvent-free formulation makes it suitable for use in occupied indoor spaces during installation and throughout the building’s life.
